Ingredients
1 3/4 cups self raising flour
125g melted butter
1/2 cup castor sugar (plus additional 1 desert spoon to put on apples)
1 egg
1 tsp cinnamon sugar
1 large tin pie apples
Preparation
STEP ONE
Preheat oven/airfryer to 180 degrees celcius
STEP TWO
Lightly grease with butter a pie dish
STEP THREE
In a mixing bowl combine flour, sugar, butter & eggs.
STEP FOUR
Press 3/4 of mixture onto base and sides of greased pie dish
STEP FIVE
Place apples evenly over base, if using unsweetened apple, sprinkle extra castor sugar over apples.
STEP SIX
With the remaining mixture crumble small pieces over the top of the apples, then lightly sprinkle the apples with cinnamon sugar.
STEP SEVEN
Bake for 35 minutes or until golden brown, serve with cream or ice cream and enjoy!
