Chow Mein

Ingredients

500g beef mince

200-250gm fresh beans sliced

half cabbage shredded

1 cup celery sliced

2 tins water chestnuts roughly chopped

2 onions finely diced

1 tsp curry powder

2 tbsp soy sauce

1 pkt chicken noodle soup mix

2 cups water

Preparation

Step 1

In a large saucepan, on high heat, brown off the mince, then add chicken noodle soup mix with the water. Cover with a lid until liquid is boiling.


Step 2

Add beans, onions, celery, curry powder and soy sauce to the saucepan. Gradually add the shredded cabbage, stirring slowly until all added.

Turn down to low heat and simmer for 20 minutes with lid on.


Step 3

Take off heat and serve!
